The Cooperation Network of the Oil and Gas Productive Chain in Sergipe – Petrogas-SE Network – started being structured in 2003, after concluding the Oil And Gas Chain diagnosis. Coordinated by SEBRAE/SE and by Petrobras, this action has been based in the acquired experience by the Redepetro/RS.
Since its foundation the Petrogas-SE Network has been seeking for interaction and to integrate itself into other networks in the state and in the country, exemplified by the Sergipe Technology Network and the Metrology Network and other Oil-oriented networks, seeking to strengthen and develop its activities and associates. Currently the Network is composed by promotion institutions, universities, big and medium-sized companies led by Petrobras, and small supplying companies.
Thus, the Petrogas-SE Network’s objective is to integrate its associates in actions which provide the development of the oil and gas productive chain, stimulating the broadening and the opening of new enterprises, as well as the investment in R&D and quality. Also, the Network seeks after the development of quality products and services, safety, respect to the environment and social responsibility, the strengthening of companies, through its qualifications, certifications and advertisement. All those initiatives are focused on broadening and the attraction of new markets.
Having in mind the consolidation of such purposes, many initiatives have been developed aiming the competitive insertion of the affiliated companies. The Multi-sector Enterprising Mission for Angola has stood out among these activities, which counted with the participation of nine small supplying companies of the Oil and Gas Chain; the Enterprising Mission for Argentina with the intention of participating in the 2005 OIL&GAS Buenos Aires Fair; the participation as an exhibitor in the 2004 and 2006 OIL&GAS Rio de Janeiro Fair and the 2005 and 2007 Brazil Offshore Fair; and the qualification of 8 companies for certification in the integrated management system.
